La Sorgue, exhibition of photographs by Rémi Michel
Rémi Michel is the photographer of the Sorgue, the enchanting river that surrounds the town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. He was born in Vaucluse, at the river's source, in the middle of the 20th century, and has always lived in the heart of the Monts de Vaucluse and Sorgue region.
The Sorgue, the emblematic river of this region that he knows so well, is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for this passionate local, whose family already lived on the banks of the Sorgue during the reign of Louis XIII. Rémi Michel offers us a diverse exhibition on the tumult and sparkle of the river, in a parade of whirlpools, gushing drops, bubbling bubbles and currents imbued with the reflections and lights that are endlessly reflected in these clear waters.
Each print is signed and numbered on 10 by the artist.
